Magenta Privacy Policy

Who operates Magenta
Magenta (“the Service,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a social media management application operated by November Kilo Echo, Inc. (“NKE”). Magenta is used by NKE and its designated brand operators to publish and analyze social media content on behalf of the brands NKE manages.
What information we collect
When a brand operator connects a social media account to Magenta, we store:
- OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, and expiration timestamps
- The provider user ID and username of the connected account
- Public posts, comments, and engagement metrics from connected accounts
- Mentions and keyword matches relevant to configured discovery topics
- For Pinterest specifically: pin metadata, board information, and pin analytics (impressions, saves, clicks) for pins created or owned by the connected account
We do not collect passwords, direct messages, or content not visible to the connected account's normal API access level.
How we use information
- To fetch posts, mentions, and engagement metrics on the brand's behalf
- To publish content approved by authorized brand operators
- To analyze trends and suggest engagement opportunities
- To track performance and refine content strategy
- To maintain operational logs for debugging and rate-limit accounting
We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers.
Data retention and deletion
Access tokens are retained as long as the connected account is active. Connections can be revoked at any time from within Magenta, which deletes the stored tokens immediately. You may also request full deletion by emailing privacy@novemberkiloecho.com or through the underlying platform's native deauthorization flow (for example, Pinterest account settings or Meta App settings). Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
Third-party services
Magenta integrates with Pinterest, Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Bluesky. Data sent to these providers is governed by their own privacy policies. We use Anthropic's Claude API for content analysis; per Anthropic's terms, data sent through the Claude API is not used to train Anthropic's models.
Brands managed through Magenta
NKE operates Magenta on behalf of one or more brand identities. Each brand's connected social accounts are handled separately, and data associated with one brand's accounts is not combined with another brand's for analytical or operational purposes. End users of a managed brand's services should refer to that brand's own privacy policy for information about its consumer data practices.
Security
Access tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to the Magenta application is restricted to authorized NKE personnel and designated brand operators. Raw tokens are never exposed to the browser. All traffic uses HTTPS.
